  • The mission of Bobcat C.A.R.E. Mental Health Advocates is to create awareness, resiliency, and empowerment. Our goal is to inform the community about all aspects of mental health, advocate for those facing mental health challenges, and foster a safe and supportive environment. We strive to eliminate the stigma associated with mental illness and promote a culture of understanding and acceptance.

  • PAWS for POTS is a student org that aims to support students affected by Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Interested students may contact the organization's president, Ravyn Benfield, at rdb175@txstate.edu. You may also find PAWS for POTS on the Bobcat Organization HUB and on Instagram at @paws_for_pots.

  • Smooth Movers: Individuals with Mobility Issues is an organization that centers disabled voices on campus. It provides a space for individuals with mobility issues to discuss issues they might face on campus, a community that they can reach out to for help, and a space to develop solutions. We will also discuss how we achieved the rights we have today. When it becomes viable, the organization will also help financially support individuals in need of mobility aids and medically assistive devices. All are welcome to participate. This also provides a space to grow allyship from within the disabled community and for those that do not identify as disabled. This is a space for all to grow and learn.

Interested students may contact the organization's president, Zenith Gonzales, at amg714@txstate.edu. You may also find Smooth Movers on the Bobcat Organization HUB and on Instagram at @smooth_movers_txst.
